Trauma-Responsive Parent Community Meetings

Roanoke City Schools are hosting Trauma-Responsive Parent Community Meetings.  They will take place January 13 
at William Fleming High School and January 22 at Patrick Henry High School.  Join us at 6 p.m. for a conversation about preventing and healing adverse childhood experiences.  Any parent is welcome to attend and dinner will be served.

Mission Statement

Garden City Elementary School maintains a commitment to providing an instructional program that focuses on the individual needs of the child. Appreciating cultural differences while maintaining respect for heritage is encouraged. The goal is to educate the whole child  using a caring, child-centered environment in order to build a positive self-image throughout the time that basic skills are being taught. Garden City considers the cooperative teamwork among parents, community, faculty, and staff to be essential in achieving this goal.
